Andrew J. Michael, MD
Dr. Andrew J. Michael attended the University of North Carolina, graduating at the top of his class in 1979 with a double major in chemistry and psychology. He returned to Dallas for his medical education at the University of Texas where he also attended graduate school.
Shawn H. Hobbs, OD
Dr. Shawn H. Hobbs attended Montclair State University in New Jersey, graduating with a major on Biology. He then attended the New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, receiving his OD degree.
Joseph D. Iuorno, MD
Dr. Joseph Iuorno is an American Academy of Ophthalmology board certified ophthalmologist and fellowship trained in Corneal/External Disease and Refractive Surgery. In addition to his office, Dr. Iuorno has participated in Academic medicine as the Director for the VCU Department of Ophthalmology Residency Training Program from 2005 – 2011. Currently Dr Iuorno is on staff as an Assistant Clinical Professor.
Tami A. Flowers, MD
Dr. Tami A. Flowers attended James Madison University and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She received her medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine where she was selected for membership in the Medical Honors Society, Alpha Omega Alpha, as a result of her high achievement.
Meredith L. Diehl, MD
Dr. Meredith Diehl is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in diagnosis, management, consultative care and co-management of complex ophthalmic conditions. She has a special interest in neuro-ophthalmic conditions. A Virginia native, she received her bachelor’s degree from Duke University and was graduated Cum Laude.
Jonathan R. Noble, OD
Dr. Noble graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in
1998 as Class President, with Highest Academic Honor and was
awarded the prestigious Health Professions Scholarship through
the United States Navy. He completed his internship at the
Vitreo-Retinal Foundation in Memphis, Tennessee.
Drew D. Munro, MD
Dr. Drew D. Munro completed his undergraduate work at The University of Virginia, obtaining a baccalaureate degree in English Literature, followed by a masters degree from the college of William and Mary. He then earned a doctor of Medicine degree from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, which included a one-year research fellowship with the Howard Huges Medical Institute. Dr. Munro completed an Internal Medicine internship at VCU returning to Duke to finish his residency in Ophthalmology followed by a fellowship in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery.
Matthew T. Young, MD
Dr. Young completed his glaucoma fellowship at the Emory Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to this he received his bachelor’s degree at the University of Virginia, attended Virginia Commonwealth University for his medical degree, and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Virginia Commonwealth University as well. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the Virginia Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Brianna L. Easton, OD
Dr. Brianna L. Easton attended James Madison University, graduating with a major in Health Sciences. She then attended the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee receiving her Optometrist degree.
She served her internship at The Eye Center of Southern College of Optometry. She then spent 2 additional years in clinical externships at Salem VA Medical Center and James Cornetta O.D.
Ana E. Astruc, OD
Dr. Ana E. Astruc attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University graduating with a major in Human Nutrition Food and Exercise and minoring in Biology and Medicine and Society.
She received her Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern College of Optometry in Davie, Florida.
Bryan A. Goldman, MD
Dr. Bryan Goldman specializes in corneal and cataract surgery.Dr. Goldman earned both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Neuroscience from Tulane University in New Orleans, where he also served on the honor board.
