"I began working at CECA in 2005 through the tech training program. With my hard work and positive attitude I became an important part of the team. It is great to work for a company that recognizes and appreciates the value of its employees."
-Rochonda Stamps, Ophthalmic Technician
"I began the training program in August 2005 at CECA. Having a supportive group of doctors and lead technicians helped me further my career and gave me an abundance of knowledge. With the knowledge and training I received from the doctors, I was able to obtain my COA and eventually become a lead technician myself. It's a great feeling to know that the doctors at CECA fully support our continued education and will help us in any way they can!"
-Ashley Barlow, Lead Ophthalmic Technician
"I joined the Commonwealth Eye Care team about 10 years ago and my professional experience has been full of appreciation, admiration and growth! When I started there was only approximately 20 staff which has grown to around 50 at present. Through that growth I have acquired a great appreciation for our work environment and all the wonderful people we have on staff. When you are part of a great team you consider your family it makes coming to work so enjoyable. I admire and appreciate our doctors and the importance they place on the personal growth of each of our team members. This team of doctors constantly teach, motivate, encourage and provide ample resources for learning and growing in our job. I joined Commonwealth Eye Care because first impressions were great, but I stayed because they lived up to that impression with the exceptional patient care, team philosophy and care they show their employees. CECA exemplifies its mission statement:
Compassion through personalized care with professional and ethical integrity
Excellence in medical and surgical eye care
Community involvement to strengthen and build relationships
Ability to continually nurture the growth of our experienced team
I am so proud to be a part of this AWESOME team!"
-Stacy Wright, Lead Ophthalmic Technician
"It's a privilege to be able to work for an amazing group of doctors. The care they give to the patients makes me proud to work for CECA. Over the years the company has provided me with the tools to continue my education and develop my skills as an ophthalmic assistant. CECA truly believes in providing a nurturing and fun environment for its staff."
