Meredith Diehl, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Commonwealth Eye Care Associates, serving patients in Henrico and Colonial Heights. Dr. Diehl in diagnosis, management, consultative care and co-management of complex ophthalmic conditions. She has a special interest in neuro-ophthalmic conditions.
Dr. Diehl is a Virginia native and received her bachelor’s degree from Duke University and graduated cum laude. She earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. She completed her post-graduate training as a resident in ophthalmology at the University of Missouri-Columbia, after which she returned to Virginia in 2007, continuing to expand her skills and expertise in ophthalmology while in private practice in Tidewater for seven years.
Dr. Diehl has extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, including infectious and inflammatory conditions. She maintains a special interest in neuro-ophthalmic consultation and in the care of patients with a wide variety of ophthalmic conditions. She is eager to be available on referral for diagnostic concerns, co-management of patients and assistance with management of both medical and laser surgical therapeutics.
