Your First Appointment With Us:

Once you or your referring doctor has made your appointment with us, we will send you an information packet or you may fill out the patient information and medical history form online. Please fill out this information online or complete the paper work prior to coming in for your appointment. Your first appointment with us may take approximately two hours. Your eyes may be dilated for this initial visit.  If you know you are sensitive to dilation, you may want to bring someone with you to drive you home after your appointment.

What to Bring to Your Appointment:

-A list of all your medications

-Any eye drops you may be currently using

-Your medical insurance cards and information

-Driver's License or ID card

-Your eyeglasses and/or contacts

-Insurance referral form from your primary care physician (if required)

-Completed New Patient Information Sheet and Medical History Information (if you have not already mailed in these forms)

CECA Surgery Scheduling:

Dr. Michael, Dr. Iuorno,Dr. Flowers, Dr. Munro, and Dr. Young perform surgery at Stony Point Surgery Center,  located at 8700 Stony Point Pkwy (See Map Here) and some procedures may be performed at our main office located on Gaskins Road.

The day of your consultation, if surgery is indicated and desired by you, you will meet with one of our surgical coordinators at the end of your visit. They will schedule your surgery date and time.

You will be given a surgery packet that will include all the information you will need to prepare for your eye surgery.

On the day of your surgery, you will need to have someone with you to drive you home. You should expect to be at the surgery center approximately two hours that day.

We will see you back in our office the day after your surgery for a post op visit. The time and location for your post op visit will be scheduled at the same time you schedule your surgery.
